Translation with wildcards is not working (key is returned)

Simon Hohl
Hello,

I just fetched the master branch (upgraded from 2.5), and it seems all
string-translations that use wildcards stopped working. For example
"showing_results_of_for_html" in
themes/bootstrap3/templates/search/controls/showing.phtml [1]. The key
is returned, as if it would not exist in my ini file. I am not 100% sure
if the wildcard is the problem, but so far all other translation seem to
be working.

I did not change anything in showing.phtml, the language ini-files and
the values are set in "$transParams" - after that, everything is
Zend-specific (?). Did I forget something while adjusting my setup to
the new version?

Cheers,

Simon

Simon,

Try clearing out your $VUFIND_LOCAL_DIR/cache/language directory -- if you have old language strings cached, the new ones won't work correctly.

If that doesn't help, please let us know!
