Solaris 10 zone and x86

Marvin Weaver
Sorry if this has been covered before, but I am new to the list and need
the answer quickly.

Does VuFind run under Solaris 10 on an x86?
Does it run in a Solaris 10 zone?

Thank you
Marvin Weaver

Not sure if anyone has actually tested if there are issues on Solaris 10
x86, but everything should work nicely (though the PDO stuff can cause
some issues). You may need to compile from sources the PHP and PDO
modules; other than that, there's not really anything special that
requires any patch level compliance, etc (though make sure you have PHP
5.2.x).

Re: Solaris 10 zone and x86

Greg Pendlebury
Hi Marvin,

We are running on a Solaris 10 zone. I'd have to ask a sysadmin about
hardware.

As Wayne mentions, everything is working fine.
